Overview
100 years ago, tennis was a very different thing. Men played in jacket and trousers and women in ankle length skirts. The object of the game (since it was not yet a sport) was simply to return the ball directly to your partner. It was considered poor form to hit it away from them.
Our white, nubuck tennis shoes are a recreation of a vintage 1910 style. With a double toe cap, naturally flexible leather sole, and deep burgundy lining, they evoke a more civilized era. A perfect style for high summer. A perfect accompaniment for centre court at The Championships in July.
